Company Overview: B&B Micro Manufacturing is a company in North Adams, MA that builds custom and prefab tiny houses on wheels via B&B Tiny Houses and is developing a modular business, B&B Modular. We currently employ about 35 people.

Internship Overview:B&B Micro Manufacturing is currently seeking a spring and/or summer intern. For the right candidate, an internship could be extended into a full-time position. We are seeking individuals to work in any or many of the following areas: office administration, construction, design, drafting in Sketchup, social media and online communications, community planning and zoning. Qualified candidates will shape their internship based on their unique interests and skills.
We are in conversation with local and state government officials about changing legislature to allow for tiny houses on wheels and permanently affixed small and tiny homes.

Qualifications: This opportunity is ideal for a student or graduate who is learning business administration, sales and marketing including blogging, architectural design and/or community planning. The day-to-day duties will be customized to the intern’s interests, but the intern can expect to spend part of their time in construction in our large warehouse workshop and part of their time in the office. The intern must be comfortable working respectfully alongside all types of people.
We are seeking well-rounded, self-driven interns with experience in interdisciplinary work.  Since this work can be self-driven, passion and drive are essential.
