LympheDIVAs, is looking for an intern to work with our manufacturing team. Duties will include garment finishing, trimming, quality assurance, inventory management, knitting machine maintenance, and other manufacturing and office tasks. Research and development of new products will also be part of the role.
Founded in 2006, LympheDIVAs manufactures fashionable medical compression garments for women and men with lymphedema, a side effect of cancer treatment that can cause permanent swelling in the arms. We are looking for an intern who has a strong attention to detail, is comfortable working with testing equipment and is able to log and analyze data. A familiarity with machinery, including being able to perform minor repairs and maintenance would be very helpful. As we are a small company, being self motivated is important.
Compensation will be $15/hour. The intern will work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday during our normal business hours. The internship will begin on June 12 and will complete on August 16. Work attire at LympheDIVAs is casual and comfortable. Applications are due February 21 and interviews scheduled between February 21-28.
